Join the Book Conversations

As an emerging author, I look for many different ways to promote my book. One of these avenues is through Goodreads. I have been using their website to track my favourite reads for many years. I enjoy rating and reviewing my favourite books, and I often look at reader reviews before reading a new novel.

I especially like connecting with authors on Goodreads. Christopher Paolini of the Inheritance cycle is an active member of the Goodreads author community, and he has offered me great advice about publishing when I have reached out to him. Cornelia Funke of the Inkworld series also posts often on the site.

I have recently joined their author program, and you can find me at www.goodreads.com/juliatilson With a Goodreads account, you can explore books related to any of your interests and join discussions to get some new recommendations.
