The Novels That Inspire Me

As a writer, it is important to explore the genres to determine what is a good fit for your story. Knowing your genre is important, because there are key elements that readers will be looking for, and you want to make sure you have them! I read mostly fiction and fantasy, so naturally those are my favourite genres to write. (Or do I read these genres because I like writing them? That is my philosophical question of the day.)
